The International Pole & Line Foundation (IPNLF) works to develop, support and promote socially and environmentally responsible pole-and-line, handline and troll (collectively called one-by-one) tuna fisheries around the world. IPNLF’s ambition is to contribute to thriving coastal fisheries, including the people, communities, businesses and seas connected with them. As a hub for sustainably-minded organisations, IPNLF uses the influence of the market to forge change through practical fishery projects and stakeholder cooperation. Allied with its Members, IPNLF demonstrates the value of one-by-one caught tuna to consumers, policymakers and throughout the supply chain, using an evidence-based, solutions-focused approach. http://ipnlf.org/
The World Wildlife Fund – As a participant in the Vietnam Yellowfin Tuna longline and handline fishery improvement project (FIP), Anova Food, LLC/Fishing & Living works with WWF to actively help the FIP progress by engaging its supply chain, supporting policy asks, and providing overall support for implementation of FIP activities. This collaborative effort brings together fishers, the private sector, government, researchers, and NGOs to improve the environmental performance of a fishery. This approach ensures that FIP activities are aligned with regionally specific interests. By working with WWF to support comprehensive FIPs, Anova Food, LLC/Fishing & Living is helping improve the health of the world’s oceans and ensure the long-term viability of fisheries and livelihoods of fishers around the globe. https://www.worldwildlife.org/
